The Allen Economic Development Corporation's Small Business Grant Program (SBGP) is designed to support primary businesses—those that produce goods or services exported beyond the local economy, bringing external revenue and job opportunities to our community. Whether you're an existing Allen business ready to expand or a company considering relocation, the SBGP offers financial incentives of up to $50,000 to help you reach your next milestone.
Primary businesses are typically found in offices, manufacturing facilities, and tech hubs. They play a vital role in strengthening our local economy by creating quality jobs and increasing the tax base.
The SBGP is tailored specifically for small primary businesses that may not qualify for traditional economic development incentives, ensuring that growing companies of all sizes have the support they need to thrive in Allen.
The SBGP is designed as a versatile tool for both business retention and recruitment, supporting companies already in Allen or planning to relocate here.
Grant funds can be used for space improvements, new construction, employee training, relocation expenses, equipment purchases, and infrastructure enhancements.
